BoneBender Team Sign up!

Team....

Please post under the comment section if you are racing the bonebender. If so, please list the following:
Full Name
Racing Category: 3 or 6 hr.
Age
T-shirt size
Most likely I will send an e-mail by next wed. April 15th, with team members information to the race promoter to enter you in your category. I will write the check the day of the race to ensure that the race happens. I have heard that they are modifying the course to accomodate any weather conditions. That means utilizing some of the paved trail, gravel, and making there own route via the grass opennings.

If this race is called off, I will be heading to the Baazar Road race. I am racing April 18th, no matter what!!

Let's shoot for a 6 p.m. staging at the bike shop next Monday night April 13th for a team ride. If the weather is too bad, let's meet anyway to discuss some races and team stuff??

See you on the Trails, Road, or on a bike somewhere!!

JP, Sorry but I won't be able to make it to the Team meeting Monday due to coaching duties. I rode Neosho today to prepare for the race and it is super fast fast fast and LOOSE! There is an optional jump that I opted for and I caught so much air that I landed in a thorn bush! I was more worried about tearing my new kit then my skin, LOL. Lucky both were ok.

Hope, I am not too late. I can't access these sites at work. I will be there Saturday. 3 Hour solo size Large T. Age 33. I'm also brining four other folks new to moutnain biking who have chosen to be baptised by fire at this race. Give us a wave and make them feel welcome. Thanks, Russ Rushing

I will bring my digital Camera tomorrow...Shawn handed off the tent to somebody? So, we need to make sure it is positioned nicely in the pit area....Welcome new guys! And, i will be paying for the team riders with one check...i will turn in our roster in the a.m. along with a check...you still need to register and sign your waivers, get your #, etc.! I will try to make it to the race site by 9:30 a.m. The only one that I really know is Brad Riley, so it will be nice to meet everyone! Do a do not rain, rain dance tonight!! See you soon! JP

JP,

I looked at the completed list for the BoneBender today for the final results. Jim Spellman finished 4th, I finished 5th and Dave Crook finished 13th. Good showing for the Team, especially for our first race. Better days ahead...
